Do you love the taste of sweet toasted coconut shrimp? Well now you can have that flavor in a dip mix. Don't like shrimp, but still love the toasted coconut flavor, this dip can be made without shrimp and is just as good.
Mix with sour cream and real mayonnaise. Optional: Add 4-6oz. of fresh or can shrimp. Can also be mixed with low-fat sour cream or greek yogurt for a healthier alternative.
Makes 2 cups of dip.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with vegetables, chips, crackers, or bread.
Also makes an awesome Coconut Crusted Chicken or Shrimp. Add the dry mix in a bowl with 1 1/2 - 2 cups Panko crumbs and mix together. Dip the chicken or shrimp into egg wash and then coat them in the mix. Saute in olive oil in a saute pan until done. It tastes just like it came out of a restaurant!
